Femina Miss India 1994 will be remembered as one of most glorious years in Indian pageant history. Sushmita Sen won Miss Universe 1994 title while Aishwarya Rai won Miss World 1994, a feat only bettered in 2000. Sushmita Sen who India its 1st Miss Universe crown didn't quite get the Femina Miss India 1994 title easily. She was fighting against Aishwarya Rai, a well established model who was favoured to win the title. The competition between the two in the final round was extremely fierce and resulted in a tie. Sushmita Sen beat Aishwarya Rai at the tie breaker question.

  • Mehroo Mistry aka Mehroo Jal Mistry was a contestant at Femina Miss India 1992 and 1st Runner Up to Madhu Sapre at Femina Miss Bombay and even though she didn't place amongst the Top 3 in Femina Miss India finals, she was sent by Femina to the Miss Asia Pacific 1992 pageant.
